The Florensac commune is located in southwestern France near the town of Montpellier. The Mediterranean coastline is teaming with ancient ruins and a history that spans back, even before the Moorish invasion of France in the 700s. The history and geology of this area have molded an incredibly unique terrior for grape growing and wine making. Les Vignerons de Florensac (Winemakers of Florensac) Picpouol de Pinet is a cooperative of 260 winemakers in the region that pride themselves on their wines, culture, and the intense love for what they do. A fresh and lively wine with sharp acidity and stone fruits that carry a grapefruit bouquet through a salivating palate. Wonderful on hot days, and pairs amazingly with all sorts of shellfish and an array of meats and cheeses!
